Spanish paperwork can be daunting... don't give up, once you do the first one the next are EASY!!!
Below you will find instructions on how to inscribed (register) your horse, revise them, filly out service requests, and fill out stallion breeding forms.
Inscription: Inscription is the registration of horses born from two P.R.E. horses registered in the Spanish stud book that have archived 'Basic Breeding Stock Approval' or in the US Revision/Revised. Both sire and Dam, MUST be in the stud book and Revised before the foal can be registered.
1. How to tell if your horse is Registered in the Spanish Stud Book
First you must know the horses registered name... as there are currently more than 300 horses with the name of Diva in the Spanish Stud Book. log onto www.lgancce.com your page should look something like this
Scroll down until you see the heading 'Servicios' on the left side.... third title down is 'Consulta de Ejemplares'... ''Click" on 'Consulta de Ejemplares'... this should take you to this page http://www.lgancce.com/lgpreancce/asp-publico/arbolGenealogicoPRE/BuscarArbolPRE.aspx?lang=ES
and it should look something like this
OK if you know the horses name you will be looking up, type into the second blank on the first row just to the right of 'NOMBRE DEL EJEMPLAR' if you do not have the horses name but have the horses codigo you can enter the codigo into the first blank on the first row, just to the right of "UELN / CODIGO DEL EJEMPLAR' (This will be a 15 number/letter series usually starting with 19010100 or 724015)... then to confirm you are an actual person under your blanks there is a odd looking series of numbers/ letters with a blank space to the left, under the heading ' Escriba el codigo de la imagen:' just retype the letters and numbers you see in the image to the left in the blank to the right, (remember this is case sensitive) if for some reason the letters/numbers don't show up there are two little gray arrows just below that box that say 'Mostrar otro codigo' "click" on that to give you a new series of numbers/letters.
When your info is in the correct boxes click the gray tab at the bottom right with the magnifying glass that reads 'Buscar"
So we can follow along, I will use the horse Diva XXXI
and these are my results:
Notice that ALL horses with the letters Diva XXXI came up so make sure you are going to click on the right horse!
The horse we are looking for is second down.. Diva XXXI born 17/4/1997, sire Darico II and dam Bruna II....
to the left of the horses name is a small gray arrow. "Click" the arrow to go to that specific horses page.
This should be what you are taken to
On this page you can see the horses: Name (Diva XXXI), registration number (190101002119508), date of birth (17-April-1997), Sex (H - for Hembra/Mare), Color (Torda - Gray), If this horse was color tested (Categoria genetica), Breeder (Yeguada el Cachete). Then lightly to the right. The microchip number (412E5E6B60), if the horse is Revised (B for basic) *if this is left blank the horse has not been revised*. and then the owner (Kathy & Donald Stewart).
Lower down on the page you can click the gray tabs that will show you the interactive pedigree of this horse (you can click on all the names in the pedigree to go to that horses individual page), the foals this horse has produced, pictures of the horse, and sometimes show history, genetic evaluations, and other information)
2. Now we have established that the horse is registered with the Spanish studbook,... or not. We can see by looking on the right side information if the horse is revised or not... Next to Estado Reproductivo (Reproductive State), if there is a letter here the horse is atleast revised, B is for basic revision, C is for Calificado (Qualified), and E is for Elite. No letter in that spot... the horse is not revised, or the horse was just revised and the information hasn't bee updated yet.

Below you will find how to, request and fill out a request for breeders code, request and fill out stallion reports, request and fill out inscription documents, and request and present your horse for revision.
Breeders Code: As a stallion, mare, or foal owner you will need a Breeders Code to complete any paperwork with the Spanish stud book. So its best to get this out of the way, as soon as possible.
Right Now the only office to process paperwork for the united states is USPREA
go here the cost for a breeders code is $295.00 (this is a one time payment for the rest of your life) - https://asoft8112.accrisoft.com/usprea/index.php?src=forms&ref=LG+Stud+Book+-+700&id=LG+Stud+Book+-+700
Follow the instructions here: Fill out the application for breeders code, upload a copy of your drivers licence, fill in the info, and pay for it... once you have your breeders code you can register, request revision, fill out breeding certificates etc.
This should be filled out once the mare is 4 months along in her pregnancy. The owner of the stallion must fill this out by logging into their LGANCCE member acount at www.lgancce.com (*Note: if you do not yet have a breeders code or do not know your log in and password contact USPREA)
